Me@Walmart is a free business mobile app that allows you to manage your Walmart schedule with ease. Developed by Walmart itself, this is the official app for associates and employees of the popular American retail brand and features shift scheduling, easy team overview, and work notifications, among others.

To use Me@Walmart, you’ll first have to be enrolled in a two-step verification process. This is to have full access to all features — although some may not be available in certain locations. The app also doesn’t always work and often either crashes or fails during login.

However, handling all employees can sometimes be tricky, even with the traditional and modern technology we use for logging work hours. Thankfully, there are work apps that take care of this. Me@Walmart is the particular employee app from Walmart and allows you to keep track of your schedule if you’re an associate of a Walmart store. The app has four main features: Schedule, Ask Sam, My Team, and Inbox.

The Schedule tab is for scheduling your shifts and requesting time off—although you can’t report absences through it and have to go online. Ask Sam is a voice assistant search engine with a smart AI. Meanwhile, My Team is a roster view of whoever has an in-app walkie-talkie feature and Inbox contains both notifications and actions taken. However, the app is prone to crashing and doesn’t let you log in properly.

Needs some more polish

Overall, Me@Walmart is the app you have to use if you’re affiliated with Walmart. It has employee-centric features—like shift scheduling and a team-tracking system—that benefit any employee, regardless of their position. However, the app suffers from lackluster performance and badly needs some fixing before it can be deemed fully reliable.
